episodes.json - Want to pass a datetime parameter

Hello, my team would like to pass a startdate/enddate datetime parameter to the endpoint https://www.buzzsprout.com/api/9999999/episodes.json so that we can get aggregate results for the start to end datetime period. Is this possible? and if so could you provide a sample url with this parameter applied for an example time period.

You are looking to group episodes with date parameters in the URL? Is the API slow for you when you try to group the entire result set by date?

API is not slow, so no performance issues. What we are trying to solve for is rather than getting TotalPlays for the lifetime of each episode in our podcast, we would like to see TotalPlays for the date time period that we specify in the header of the request. This allows us to see trends over time in total plays by episode based on the time periods specified

I would be very interested in finding a parameter that could group the total plays by a date instead of the podcast release date.

Ah okay. So you want more stats analytics available in the API. Yea please write down all the use cases here to better help us create an API that meets your use cases.

The use case is trend over time so if we can see a date increase/decrease over time with the number of plays we can garner more insight whether it's release date, weekend peaks it can help us formulate better insight from the data.
