Hi @3Fish Thanks you for your suggestion. If you enable the option to show expandable subtasks in the plugin appearance settings, the subtasks will be displayed as you suggested. I use a similar approach because subtasks are children of tasks, but tasks are children of projects, projects are children of larger projects, or areas, and goals. I use tags as "type" If I want to see "projects" at the root, then I filter by "#project" and the tasks are displayed as subtasks of their parent projects... In some views I also like to see tasks, subtasks and projects at the root and I don't mind the duplication. So your suggestion, if enforced by the plugin, would make it unusable to me. The beauty of Tasknotes is that it makes no assumptions about how your workflow should be. It gives you the freedom to configure it to your needs. Let me know if this helps... |

Hi,
I want to suggest that Subtasks should be rendered as such in all list views and maybe can be hidden from other views. As I usually just want to see the overall progress of tasks.
That is how it looks now:

This is what I would like to see:

Perhaps someone has a better Idea, but I want to quickly see which tasks are sub-tasks of what.
Ideally, the status of subtasks would also change the parent's tasks status. e.g. if all subtasks are done, the parent is set to done...
