Sub-Tasks behavior confusing me.

Hey and thanks for your help,

What im not getting right now, is in my mind the Sub-tasks from the a parent-task should blocking the parent-task to be closed(done) or when i move the parent task to done all of the sub-tasks should be done as well. Did i misunderstand something with all of the task and sub-task or im correct about this?
