Description

Hi CapAwesome Team,

I hope you’re doing well!

I wanted to highlight the importance of the Jitsi Meet plugin for Capacitor apps and suggest ways your team could help. The current maintainer is doing a fantastic job, but video calling is a complex, critical feature, and maintaining it alone is a heavy task.

Video calls are essential for apps today—across remote work, telehealth, and education. Supporting or empowering the current maintainer would ensure the plugin stays updated, improves faster, and strengthens Capacitor’s ecosystem by enabling modern, critical features like video conferencing.

I believe your involvement could make a big difference for the community. Let me know your thoughts, and thanks for all your hard work!

Thank you for your request. I don't use the Jitsi Meet plugin myself. It also seems that there are plugins in the community that are up-to-date. For this reason, I currently feel there is a greater need for other plugins and am closing this issue for the time being.
