Hello,
I'm a bit at the end of ideas here ....
I have a dcache server that I have access to using gfal.
I can do gfal-ls on a directory, for example .../testdir/ and see all files in it.
I can list a file in the directory, for example .../testdir/test.txt
But if I try gfal-ls on a file that does not exist, for example .../testdir/test2.txt I get error 550 Permission Denied.
Why? I would expect something like file not found, but why permission denied? This would be an important distinction.
Is that some kind of OS specific permission issue with the directory, or is this supposed to be like that?
I use the gsiftp protocol, in case it's important.
Thanks.
