I had been using your package for almost 2 years but now I have a problem with @types/google.maps and @types/googlemaps.

I will as soon as I have a feedback on the open issue since I fixed the typings as part of fixing the bug of #4 but since I don't have a setup for using the package @ the moment I need somebody to test the build (it's a "npm pack" inside the zip attached to my message there which you should be able to install using npm). If there are no problems then I can publish it (there is however a breaking change in the API of the plugin and that is that 2 methods now return a promise instead of a plain array of markers)

I tested it, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. (See at #4.)

Wouldn't it be possible to release just the dependency fix first? That seems to be a low hanging fruit, as opposed to the other fix, which needs some more debugging. Thanks.

btw, the google.maps type dep update on master branch is not fully complete.
The following further changes are needed to make it work: csillag@db60102

This is basically just the master, plus the fixes needed to finish the update, and forked.
