Packages

https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/omnissa-horizon-client

Purpose

Helps to connect to remote Desktops available via Horizon platform.

vmware-horizon-client is EOL, replaced by omnissa-horizon-client after the Broadcom acquisition and split offs.

License

... if Customer purchases licenses to Software.

1.2 Third-Party Agents. Customer may permit Third-Party Agents to deploy and use the Software on Customer’s behalf solely to deliver services to Customer.

1.3 Copying Permitted. Customer may make a reasonable number of copies of the Software for “cold standby” disaster recovery, backup, and archival purposes. Use of those copies is limited to testing Customer’s disaster recovery procedures and effectiveness, and as may be necessary during any reasonable period subsequent to the occurrence of an actual disaster during which Customer cannot operate the Software.

I didn't find a copy of the license. The PDF referenced in the other issue doesn't contain the license or information about packaging and distribution. ("Pricing and packaging" means something different in that document.)

Those look like licenses for third-party components used in horizon, not the license for horizon itself.

General terms are at https://www.omnissa.com/general-terms

I don't see anything related to distributing packages, but there is prohibition from publishing benchmarks:

Benchmarking. Customer may use the Offerings to conduct internal performance testing and benchmarking studies. Customer may only publish or distribute study results with Omnissa’s approval.

I think section 1.2 and 1.3 here would inherently allow a copy for redistribution: https://www.omnissa.com/software-exhibit/
