Date picker without edit input field....

Hello,

Thanks for releasing your date picker code.
I am sort of new to Javascript/HTML but, I am getting better.
I would like to have a button that displays the data picker, when clicked, and then read a property to get the date selected all via Javascript. This date picker does not seem to support such an operation.

Am I missing something? Maybe tie it to an invisible edit field?

I couldn't get it to work without the field so I did what you suggested and hid that field. Works fine
