Description

Describe the bug:
I’ve purchased the Solo Base plan with the $20/month Models Add-On. On the web dashboard, I can see 0/500 usage, so the model access is clearly active.

However, in both VS Code and PyCharm, the extension:

Does not list any models in the dropdown

Prompts me to add a BYOK (Bring Your Own Key)

Does not seem to detect the included hosted models from the add-on

To Reproduce:

Purchased Solo Base + Models Add-On (Base tier)

Installed Continue.dev in both VS Code and JetBrains (PyCharm)

Logged in successfully via continue login

Web shows subscription is active (0/500 usage shown)

Editor shows no models, instead asks for BYOK

What I’ve tried:

Reloaded VS Code and PyCharm

Uninstalled & reinstalled the extension

Deleted .continue and .continue/continue.yaml

Tried both default and custom config.yaml files

Verified login was successful

Checked that extension version is latest (v1.0.14)

Environment:

Continue extension version: 1.0.14

Plan: Solo Base + Models Add-On

Expected behavior:
Hosted models from the Models Add-On (Claude 3.7, GPT‑4o, etc.) should be available inside the IDE without needing BYOK.
