I'm using single stars to make some sentences bold. I've found the following:

namespace boost::mysql {

/**
 * \brief Move-constructor.
 * \details
 * Some `code` and
 * some *bold that spans
 * several lines*.
 */
void f();

}  // namespace boost::mysql

Rendered as:

Looking at the docs I couldn't find any mention to using stars for making things bold, so apologies if I'm trying something that's not supported. I've tried <strong> and @strong and they don't seem to be supported, either.

Generated asciidoc:

[#boost-mysql-f]
= xref:boost.adoc[boost]::xref:boost/mysql.adoc[mysql]::f
:relfileprefix: ../../
:mrdocs:

Move&hyphen;constructor&period;

This issue does not block me, since it has an easy workaround.
