I have multiple Minecraft accounts and can't add them

I created an account with a link to my Minecraft account but it unfortunately recognised my secondary account and now it won't let me add my main account because it thinks I'm trying to add the account I already have. Is there a way to add a second Minecraft account? If not, it should be added.

It is definitely possible to have multiple Minecraft accounts linked. Each Minecraft account being linked to a different Microsoft account, you should simply make sure to be logged in the right Microsoft account beforehand... Microsoft might on their side be short-circuiting the login procedure though, making it appear as there's no option to change account directly while trying to link your account.
