I am currently working on a virtual keyboard that takes our RS232 barcode scanner as input an translates the 'text' into key events, then emitted into the system through evdev on the first keyboard found in the system. Maybe we can use this for brmbar, too, as it acts as a natural keyboard and we do not need to patch the GUI of brmbar.
Plan to finish it within one week and will test it on the brmbar afterwards.
