Address security vulnerabilities. (#530)

## What changes are proposed in this pull request?

This PR addresses two security vulnerabilities:

- Bumps
[org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin](https://github.com/apache/maven-archetype)
from 3.2.1 to 3.3.0.
- Bumps
[com.google.protobuf:protobuf-java](https://github.com/protocolbuffers/protobuf)
from 3.24.2 to 3.25.5.

Unit and integration tests.
