Ultramarine Linux 41 (Fedora) KDE Plasma edition. Original 3.0.0 download from October works, recent download of 3.0.0 and 3.0.1 result in a blank window. Error at console when launched: "Could not create default EGL display: EGL_BAD_PARAMETER. Aborting..."

Start with Sudo

I do. That's the only way it will run.

Have you tried updating all your dependencies?

Everything is fully updated. I was using the 3.0.0 version from October without issue for weeks, then downloaded 3.0.1 and it comes up blank and gives the message above when launched from the command line. I had already removed the 3.0.0 file, so I had to re-download that version and that looks like it has also been updated. That version won't even launch.

I get this message with the current 3.0.0 appimage:
❯ ./chrultrabook-tools_3.0.0_amd64.AppImage

Start the app with Sudo, do not rely on the application starting with sudo as it is broken in some distros

I am running with sudo, as it's required. If I don't put it in the command line it prompts to elevate. I found the old appimage for 3.0.0 from October in my trash and it does work.

what is you libwebkit2gtk version?

refer to this issue

This is not an issue with the application but rather with Fedora or your libwebkit2gtk. Please wait or downgrade your libwebkit2gtk and try opening 3.0.1

I do apologize for any inconvience this may have caused. Thank you for your continued support.

No need to apologize, your work on this is appreciated! I'll mess around with webkit versions and see what I can figure out. I did get the old 3.0.0 download I found on my drive to work for now.
