• As discussed on Mattermost, there was lots of confusion among learners why they could not reproduce the penguin results from the lecture video (in terms of the confusion matrix); here it would be probably good to align with the carpentries material and choose the (more likely) scenario in which the prediction of Chintrap class fails. Most learners thought they made a mistake and lost time when they tried to "fix" it. (+1)
  • alternatively: just use more epochs in the video (500 gives good results and is robust to changing random seedf)
