start a new account, complete mail and password, click sent code

Expected behavior
receive verification code on mail.

Clear cache, use VPN (or Tor) to log in from the USA and use your gmail address.
I had tried multiple times using mailbox.org but when I used gmail and tried it from the US, it worked first time.

Finally found the culprit: at least on mobile, there's an error message, but it's on the top of the page. It says that the e-mail domain is "currently" not supported. Which feels a bit weird, as there are virtually infinite numbers of domains, which is why sending a mail doesn't incorporate "supporting" the receiver's domain. 😉

What's also unfortunate: You have to scroll up in time to spot the message and the timer for "code sent" starts nonetheless. So in a normal registration flow, there is no indication about this error whatsoever, other than a missing e-mail.

I used my Gmail. I received a code five minutes later. And it still said that the code was wrong. It seems the email is slow and sometimes lost.

It also didn't work for me when I tried multiple times with Gmail but it works fine with Yahoo.

Maybe you shouldn't have the code request that's currently at the bottom of the sign up screen, rather put the code request on a later screen. It's saying the code is wrong before it's even sent you an email.

The workaround is to use https://platform.deepseek.com/ to sign in with your Google account. Then, the login works fine on https://chat.deepseek.com/.

I guess iCloud.com users can go f themselves. There's no applemail.com alternative to save the day. I will wait until my Hide my Email email will receive the code

Unfortunately, my main E-Mail address bound to my own domain is also not accepted, seems they allow only some selected (well known) email providers.

"Error sending code. Your email domain is currently not supported for registration."

But I understand that the current hype around deepseek is a real challenge.

Update: it took me about 24 hours to get a confirmation code that worked. Be patient and you'll get it!
