I have "Only Fetch from DeltaChat Folder" enabled, yet when I trigger the popup to enable the deletion, it seems to insist that all folders will be affected:

I assume the wording isn't updated dynamically for this use case and that with "Only Fetch from DeltaChat Folder", deletion will be limited as well. However, given the potential impact if I'm guessing wrong, I'm not too eager to try. I'm suggesting the wording should reflect this option correctly.

  • Operating System (Linux/Mac/Windows/iOS/Android): Linux
  • Delta Chat Version: Delta Chat Desktop 1.50.1 (git: flathub) Delta Chat Core v1.152.1
  • Expected behavior: the deletion dialog only mentions "DeltaChat" folder rather than "all server folders", if advanced settings say this is what the client should be limited to
  • Actual behavior: deletion dialog claims all folders will be affected
  • Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to advanced settings, enable "Only Fetch from DeltaChat Folder", 2. Go to chats and media settings and click "Delete Messages from Server" and pick any duration like 5 weeks, 3. Read the warning popup
  • Screenshots: see above
