Profile the Transfer-Service

Currently the Transfer-Service is more or less complete.

We want to start understanding if there are any memory leaks, or performance degrading characteristics of the service.
VisualVM is a common profiler, and intellij also has a profiler built into it if you are running the Ultimate edition which could provide a good starting point to understanding performance.
