An album must not be separated into multiple albums by artist name. It must remain a single album with multiple artists. If you have a 'Gold Collection' with 50 artists, you will end up with 50 albums, each containing only one song.

The workaround is to set the album artist to the same value for all songs.

@steam3d Albums are defined by 'Album' and 'Album artist' tags by default, which makes the most sense. But you could play with the available options if that's a problem for your collection:
