Error with the demes number

I'm able to run the program using the barrier-schemeY-nIndiv300-nSites3000 example, however when I try to use my dataset I get the following error.

Error: Check that nDemes > 1 (or type ./runeems_snps --help)

My params file is:

datapath = Sgra_Data_D500/Sgra32
mcmcpath = MCMC_D500
nIndiv = 32
nSites = 406
nDemes = 500
diploid = true
numMCMCIter = 1000000
numBurnIter = 200000
numThinIter = 1000

Any suggestions?

Hi Matías,

I don't know if it will helpful to you since your issue was way back in August. In the directory "runeems_sats/src" go to runeems_sats.cpp (open it with visualstudio code) and go to the line 70 and paste the following:

if (params.nIndiv <= 2) {
params.nIndiv = 161;
}
if (params.nDemes <= 1) {
params.nDemes = 200;
}
if (params.nSites <= 0) {
params.nSites = 7;
}
if (params.numMCMCIter <= 10) {
params.numMCMCIter = 1000000; //VALORES
}

you can replace it with your own values, that might help you.

update: for some reason when I ran it without the seed argument it worked.

Hi I'm having the same problem! I tried the above solution, but still getting the same error even with updated values. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
