Cosmos DB has 3 choices for pricing. Details are at https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/cosmos-db/serverless/
IIRC, Aspire creates accounts with option 2, but we should consider changing that to option 1 instead. |

Cosmos scales to $0 per month, which is fantastic, except Aspire doesn't create autoscaling Cosmos instances - it creates fixed scale instances.
You have to manually go into the Azure portal or the Azure CLI to switch your Cosmos to autoscaling after creation.
Spinning up Cosmos instances with Aspire can quite expensive if you accidentally leave them running thinking there's no cost associated with them.
Today, Aspire is mostly used by early adopter fans who like being on the bleeding edge. RealSoonNow Aspire will have more normal devs using it, and they're going to go ballistic if Aspire starts sending significant unexpected charges to their credit cards.
