It is possible to add Mermaid diagrams in Github, e.g. to markdown files: https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/writing-on-github/working-with-advanced-formatting/creating-diagrams

We should add a request flow diagram to show how a request is handled in the GraphQLServer.
