Steps to Reproduce

Load FreeDV -> Uncheck Tools...Options->Enable Reporting
Start FreeDV
Tools...Start Play File - From Radio...
Select the wav file attached to this post (02 websdr_recording_2024-11-08T16_36_44Z_28550.0kHz.wav)
At the point where we turn off the amp and go to 30 watts the FreeDV app throws a Runtime Error and crashes
This occurs at approx. 46 seconds into the playback recording

Expected Behavior

On my PC, the runtime error is 100% repeatable at the 46 second mark in the .wav recording
NOTE: if I enable the 'Enable Reporting' checkbox in Tools...Options... the runtime error does not occur.

This may have been fixed as part of #794 as I can't duplicate here with the attached WAV file. You can see if the latest Windows installer (which should include that fix) works better for you: https://github.com/drowe67/freedv-gui/actions/runs/12685607893/artifacts/2405723711.

Success! Your fix appears to have done the job. Also, the added SNR readout follows the 10 dB drop in amplifier power on the .wav recording very nicely. Great job.
