When pointing to e.g. http://localhost:8888/exist/restxq/aaaaaaaaa status code 405 is returned:

The status code is misleading, since it suggests that one could use another HTTP method to interact with the same URL. But this is not true since there is no code to handle the request at all....

I'd vote for a 404.....
