In JDT the "Run" shortcut (F11 in my case) runs either the last successfully run configuration or the currently open editor's code if applicable.
Only if those two do not fit it ask what to do.
Corrosion OTOH always asks what to do and never runs the last used configuration, which defeats the purpose of the concept.
