So we tested with x86_64 and arm64 devices and they are working.

Since we use conan and cmake it might be also possible to build everything for other architectures as well, but due to the lack of interest we cannot support there.

okay but from the OS point of view can I use any linux distro for the target architecture ?

please keep in mind that this is not a linux app as you would install via apt or so. the apps developed with our SDK are meant to run inside of a car on an ECU, ideally within a dockercontainer.

If you just want to build a native posix binary it should totally be independent of the distro you are using.

Maybe you tell a bit more of your plan?

I want to develop/build an app using velocitas SDK and want to run the app on CentOS ARM variant. That's the plan.

Do you want to run that without docker? I mean with containers you are totally independent. Please keep in mind that you also need an mqtt broker and the kuksa databroker to make the app start

You need to make them available for the app via TCP. So yes the easiest is to have them all running on the same host.

You are totally right and it is on our agenda to remove this hard dependency, unfortunately we didn't have time for that yet.
