FR: Request for Subreddit Import Feature Enhancement #53
Description
I am writing to suggest an enhancement to the current subreddit import functionality. At present, the app generates duplicate entries when importing subreddits if they already exist in the App.
To improve the user experience, especially for those who frequently add or update their subreddit lists, I propose introducing two new import modes:
Mirror Mode: This mode would synchronize the subreddits exactly as per the URL provided, ensuring that all subreddits are mirrored.
Update Mode: In this mode, no duplicates would be created, and any subreddit not present in the URL would remain untouched (i.e., it wouldn’t be removed).
This functionality would greatly benefit users by allowing them to easily manage and update their subreddit lists without concern for duplicates or unintended deletions.
I hope you will consider adding this feature in the next update.
