Extract data from elexis

Since I'm planning my retirement, here's a tool to extract relevant data from the elexis database (only mysql/MariaDB supported) into a form I can easily hand out to the patients, e.g. on a CD,

Thanks for your kind words. Well, retirement really is a process that will take probably a year or more, since all patients have to find a new family doctor. So I'm still eager for the Tardoc-Plugin ;-) But I have to face: I'm getting old.
Programming Elexis was a neccessity in the beginning, since I couldn't afford the EMR software available those days. Today, Elexis exists very well without me, which is good, and I hope, you guys will keep it running. Thanks!

Most of the Elexis users of the first days will face the problem of the law which enforces us (and our families if we die) to keep all data for at least 20 years available. Nobody can guarantee, that Hard disk drives or SSD's or USB-Sticks will be readable in 20 years (or even that the USB standard in 20 years will be compatible to sticks of today). So strictly taken, we must check and convert every few years or so.
One possibility ist, to hand out the data to SwissArchive (Which costs a five digit number of CHF)
Another possibility would be, to print every thing on paper. Which is old fashioned, but durable. But that consumes a lot of space, of course.
In my opinion the best option: Burn every patient's data on a CD and hand them this CD out. So the responsibilitiy is with them, Thats where this tool comes in handy.
