In this paper, The sparse depth map need to be normlized to range [-1,1]. Here are my questions:

  1. The normal distribution doesn't have a boundary, what does range [-1,1] mean?
  2. Given that the sparse depth map has many NaN pixels without any projected pointcloud point, how to normlize them?
