I'm on a 2DSXL. I first used this in July 2025 with no issues, it worked as I'd expect it to. Then sometime around September, I've had persistent issues with playback to where it is unuseable.
Trying to skip forward in a video is possible, until you try to skip past about a minute into it. It will keep restarting itself at the 0:00 mark and you cannot watch past that. I figured it was a buffering issue where the video hadn't loaded past that point, so I refresh the buffer, but that doesn't work. Second, even if I just let the video run anyway, again after about a minute, the video will just stop and the app will glitch up so that you can no longer load another video. The playback bar during this will speedup for a few seconds and then the video will stop or the app will crash. I've provided my crash dump here. The shoulder buttons to skip 5 seconds into a video will also sometimes not work and it will put you back to where you are over and over again.
