How the to view realtime logs from console.log() in either server || client?

For my dataProvider, I want to do some logging for easier debugging. I realized... I can't find anywhere how to do this!

How do I view realtime console.log() events from f12 browser developer console? Or even from the server as the data passes through -- anywhere. console.log() just seems to end up in a void.

I am trying to console.log from setupProxy but nothing shows up when I run npm start
