Getting react-scripts test to use the output code that running react-scripts build produces

I've encountered a situation where viewing our app with react-script build results in errors whereas using react scripts start does not produce errors.

Regardless of which one is behaving properly, Id like to be able to run the test suite with the transpiled code from react-scripts build so that tests fail fast and we catch issues before they are deployed. Is this possible?
