Research Improving Schedule_A 1 letter name searches #6530
Description
We received this feedback and I was able to replicate the user's experience of very slow times when searching for contributor_names with only one letter first names. Could we possibly alter parse_fulltext to see if we can make this more efficient without altering schedule_A indexes?
I think currently, if a user searches "J Doe" they will receive results like Mary Doe. We should see if this can also be improved.
Completion Criteria
- We have researched if we can improve these queries' speed.
- If we can't improve, follow up on the user's thread with an explanation and define which kind of queries to avoid as requested.
