Hotkey to open extension and set default reading speed

It would be nice to be able to set a keyboard shortcut to enable the extension, instead of clicking the extension button each time. The default reading speed is set to 400, and I'm always reading at around 600-700 wpm. It would be a nice feature to be able to set a default reading speed.

This feature would be indeed very helpful in my opinion. Is this feature still planned / is there any progress on this?

We really need a way to launch it with a shortcut. It's probably very easy to implement, since Firefox manages shortcuts automatically. I'm not a developer, but I think you just need to "register" it for a shortcut, shouldn't be too hard.
