Issue Description:
I am facing critical issues with the attendance Punch-In/Punch-Out system in Frappe HRMS, causing severe disruptions in tracking employee attendance.
Problems Encountered:
Delayed Attendance Updates:
After punching in, the attendance records do not reflect the status of present employees for 1-2 hours or more.
The delay makes it impossible to track real-time attendance, creating confusion in workforce management.
Punch-Out Data Not Updating Properly:
Even after punching out, the system fails to immediately update the attendance status.
This delay disrupts reporting and payroll calculations, leading to inconsistencies.
Attendance Dashboard Not Updating Daily:
The attendance dashboard fails to update automatically on a daily basis.
When attempting to configure daily updates, the save option is missing, making it impossible to apply the setting.
Data Disappearance in Monthly Mode:
When using monthly attendance tracking, punch-out entries vanish and the attendance count gets deducted, leading to false records and missing entries.
This creates a major issue in payroll and compliance, as records are lost unpredictably.
Expected Behavior:
Attendance should reflect immediately after punching in/out.
Daily attendance tracking should be configurable and savable without UI issues.
Monthly tracking should not erase punch-out data or deduct attendance counts incorrectly.
Urgency & Impact:
This issue is severely affecting HR operations, leading to attendance mismanagement and payroll errors.
Immediate resolution is required to prevent data loss, incorrect salary processing, and employee dissatisfaction.
