I’d like to work on this issue because improving developer experience in the SDK is something I genuinely enjoy. A simplified API for storing and retrieving arbitrary key-value metadata on a Stellar account would make the SDK more intuitive and reduce friction for developers building on Stellar. Even though this is marked as low priority, I think enhancements like this have a meaningful impact on usability and long-term adoption.

I’m particularly interested in contributing to improvements that abstract complexity while still respecting Stellar’s underlying architecture. Designing a clean, minimal API for metadata storage would require thinking carefully about how it maps to existing Stellar account data structures, ensures consistency, and remains flexible for future extension.

In terms of relevant experience, I have worked with Git-based collaborative workflows (forking, branching, rebasing, and raising pull requests), and I’m comfortable navigating SDK-style repositories and understanding existing abstractions before proposing changes. I also have experience designing clean interfaces that prioritize clarity, maintainability, and developer ergonomics.
