Is this going to become the remote server offered by GCP? #295
Description
Wondering what the product plan for this server is if the owners could provide any clarity. Google started rolling out remote mcp servers to GCP services at the end of Q4, but workspace wasn't included in the rollout. I assume that workspace will eventually be an offered mcp in GCP, but it's very unclear to me if this is the official workspace mcp that would get rolled out there or if there is an independent effort happening from the workspace team building an entirely separate server for gcp deployment?
My current strategy is mirroring and deploying this server behind our mcp gateway with tweaks for our needs with the idea that this will eventually become the cloud offering so will be seamless to move my org over to the official remote offering someday.
