Hi! I’ve selected urBackend and have started exploring the codebase locally.

I’m currently understanding the API flow, authentication, and database structure, and planning to contribute actively once the period begins.

Are there any specific areas or issues you’d recommend focusing on early?

• Please refer file named deep analysis, to know how it works and whats done till now.
• Refer Product Spec document - to know My Plan on this. (Corrections still needed thats just raw plan)
• Refer Public Auth System to understand how developers can use auth service of urbackend.

Where You can work?

• You can browser current issue with label NSOC'26
• If you want to be strong in backend then you should explore apps/dashboard-api and apps/public-api
• In backend there are many issues, and many latency related issues too, So You can also work on Optimization on api responses.
• Or if wants to work on UI, then Look I am dumb in builing UI I have used AI Agents to build UI, like whole UI is build by AI agents, that have many issues like responsiveness issue or many have DevEx Issues. And for UI we have to specifically work on Optimizing DevEx.

Hi Yash, thanks a lot for sharing the detailed resources and guidance! I will start going through the deep_analysis and product spec documents right away to understand the system design and current progress. I’ll also review the public auth system to get a better grasp of the authentication flow. I’ll go through the NSOC’26 issues as well and start working on one soon. Excited to contribute 🚀
