Successful build on PopOs (jammy) fails to fully load ghostty

I normally build ghostty from main and I noticed today that when building on popos I no longer get a fully functional ghostty. When I try and run ghossty with the affected versions I end up with a partial window as shown in the screenshot. Tagged version 1.1.2 builds and works correctly.
