[ BUG ] Can't have docs page that isn't in nav

Expected Behavior

I expect I should be able to create a docs page that is "hidden" (i.e. not in the nav tree) by creating a markdown file in docs/ and linking to it.

Actual Behavior

Extra Details

Steps:

1. Create markdown file anywhere in docs/
2. Try to navigate to it manually
