Creator 5 Launch

Did anyone else see the Flashforge Creator 5 launch? It looks like a multi-tool built on the AD5M/X frame. I've already put my deposit down, but I’m really hoping the internals match the 5/Pro/X series—mostly for easier firmware access and modding potential. Anyone else planning to pick one up, or are you holding out for reviews? Also looks cheaper than the U1.

If we can get the software unlocked and get something like Full Spectrum sliced files printing that would be so awesome, placed my deposit earlier today too

I don't plan to buy a Creator 5.
I also don't plan to repeat the experience of developing without a printer, as I did with the AD5X. It takes a lot of time, and all testing is only possible remotely.

I got an AD5X printer six months after I launched the Z-Mod on it.

Only after that was I able to create the AD5X recovery system, work without a native screen, and everything else.

If users decide they need a Z-Mod for Creator 5 and can provide me with a printer, I'll take up the mod development.

We gotta be able to round up enough donations so you can get one at launch. I don't have any interest in owning the two I put deposits on without some Zmod magic. Its made owning 3 AD5X a joy.

Boosty worked for me in the US. Also have ordered Creator 5 and happy to be a beta tester. Hopefully FlashForge hasn’t made this process more difficult this time around.

Of course, I will try to contribute again soon but I would also suggest to mention on the main page the fundraising for the Creator 5. I feel many users will not make it to this discussion or realize their donations would help support the port.

Taking into account all fees and conversions, I currently have 25,000 rubles, which is approximately $332.

The Creator 5 isn't available in Russia yet. Resellers are offering it for 120,000 rubles, which is an unrealistic price. Official AliExpress sellers promise the same prices as those on the FF website, but that's two months away.
I hope that within 2 months I will be able to collect the required amount. I left the link on the main page of the site.

Users from Russia are also joining the fundraiser. So far, 29,000 rubles have been raised. It's about 390 dollars.
