Hi there,
I'm using your Markdown UI project and really appreciate the work! However, I've encountered an issue with table rendering that I hope to get some guidance on.
Currently, the tables render with a fixed width equal to the screen width. This works well for larger screens, but for long content on small screens, it becomes problematic—content either gets cut off or overflows awkwardly.
I'm trying to improve this by:
Wrapping the table in a scrollable container (so users can horizontally scroll on small screens).
Setting a maximum width for table cells, so that text wraps automatically when it exceeds this width.
However, I can't get this to work as expected. When I attempt to set cell max-width and enable wrapping, either:
The text beyond the container width gets truncated (instead of wrapping), or
The cell borders don't adjust dynamically—they stay at a fixed height, causing wrapped text to overflow the cell boundaries.
Could you please advise on the correct CSS or configuration needed to achieve dynamic text wrapping in table cells, while keeping the table in a scrollable container and ensuring cell borders adjust to the wrapped content height?
Thanks for your help!
