Will there be support for wave forecasts, such as significant wave height (Hs) or 2D wave spectrum?

I was going through the list of available parameters, but didn't see anything about wave parameters. Is there, or will there be support for wave parameters like significant wave height, peak period, wave direction, or most preferably the 2D wave spectrum?

Unfortunately, from our end there are no plans to support these parameters.

If I run this model myself, will I be able to train and run the model for wave parameters or is this not possible at all?

If these are variable available in ERA5 then there's no reason you shouldn't be able to train a model to try predict them.

Indeed whether the model does a good job of this will depend on how predictable the variables are and how well the training is done...
