uls log viewer from SP uls logging database as source #5

I am looking for an uls log viewer, that can retrieve the ULS logs from the wss_logging database.
Wouldn't that make sense?
If yes, why doesn't it exist yet ... or does such a tool exist?
This log viewer in this repository has some stars, but it seems orphaned, as even support pull request for SP2016 and SP2019 was not added. So, I assume, it will also not help creating any pull request - either for the logging db or e.g. for support of SPSE ... (?)
Any other known sources?
- Is there a uls log viewer actively developed somewhere where source code is open source?
- Or is e.g. the source code for the "official" community viewer available?
