Service Alert: ip.pycox.com unreachable due to DNS Lame Delegation #194
Description
I've noticed that the ip.pycox.com utility (often used for IP-echo/CLI diagnostics) is currently unreachable.
It appears the domain is suffering from a Lame Delegation issue. The nameservers currently delegated at the registrar level do not appear to be authoritative or properly configured for the pycox.com zone.
Current Status: NXDOMAIN or SERVFAIL on lookups.
Likely Cause: A recent registrar change where nameserver updates were not fully completed. It looks like the domain name was moved from name.com to namesilo.com, but the domain name is still delegated to the name.com nameservers. To fix it, contact namesilo.com and change the delegation to point to the proper authoritative nameservers.
