Description
After installing the bridge successfully, the fx_cast extension will report that there are "problems with the bridge". I can't seem to figure out what event triggers the prompt to give the extension permission to scan for the devices on the network, but sometimes I have encountered a situation where it says "unknown" was asking for permission to scan for devices on the network. However, after repeatedly closing the browser and opening it (maybe 7 or 8 times) I got prompted to give fx_cast permission to scan for devices on the network and after saying yes, the extension worked perfectly.
Steps to reproduce
Install fx_cast extension and associated apple silicon bridge
click on the extension and there should be a "there is a problem with the bridge" prompt if you haven't been prompted to give permission yet.
Expected behaviour
Ideally the prompt should happen sooner or perhaps there could be a way to manually give it permission from the get go?
I should add that I love this extension and it's been a lifesaver for me and my son
