Tor2Web replacement?

I would like to be able to run this container in a manner where it can proxy to any .onion address from a common clearnet domain root. Is this possible?

I’ve looked at both Tor2Web and other similar options but none of them seem to work or be actively maintained.

@darth-veitcher, in theory, yes it should be possible. Implementing a solution like this (even over tor-nginx-proxy), however, would not be straightforward. Do you have any ideas around it?
