Access raw protobuf encoded body in handler?

I have a server where I want to append the exact protobuf bytes to a log after I've verified contents of the struct, but it seems that I can't access the original body bytes in the handler.

It would be wasteful to reencode it with request.into_inner().encode_to_vec() if the handler has the original payload bytes already, is there some way to access the original body bytes from the request?
