CarrierGas in MixturePrediction

Hi
Can you tell me how CarrierGas affects or can affect the calculations in MixturePrediction? What is the point of specifying it in the input file? Thanks!

I have another question after running Mixture-Prediction. At certain “critical” mole ratios in columns, the isotherm value of the mixture component isotherm value/adsorbed phase mol-fraction x_i/hypothetical pressure p_i^* results in Nan values. What is the reason for this? Is it an algorithm problem or is the mixture unphysical? Could you please give me a hint

By critical mole fraction, I mean component imbalance. In my case it is 1:45:750:1750 Mole fraction ratio for the four components
