[Bug]: Videos don't get rendered after updating to 0.11.1.1

• I have tried reproducing this issue in Chrome and it could not be reproduced there
• I have tried reproducing this issue in ungoogled-chromium and it could not be reproduced there
• I have tried reproducing this issue in Helium with a new and empty profile using --user-data-dir command line argument and it could not be reproduced there

Description

After updating AppImage to 0.11.1.1 (from 0.10.8.1) on Ubuntu 24.04, videos (youtube, vimeo, facebook) don't get rendered, though audio is present. I have the same problem with the latest version of chrome (147.0.7727.55) given that both Helium and chrome are using same chromium version I guess this is a chromium problem.

How to Reproduce?

• update to 0.11.1.1
• Try to play any video e.g. on Youtube

Actual behavior

Video is not rendered (black or fuzzy constant image)

Expected behavior

video being played and displayed

After downgrading to [0.10.9.1] playing videos work again

I tested this in ungoogled-chromium, same issue there. For me, the issue is that only HEVC (h265) videos don't play. (Such as https://dl.photoprism.app/samples/Formats/Video/H.265-HEVC/TSU_3840x2160.mp4) It could be linked to this chromium bug. https://issues.chromium.org/issues/471948742. They play in firefox, and other programs.

I suspect the jump from chromium 146 to 147 broke something with vaapi, as I get this error when trying to play a h265 video.

@zydezu I also have an Nvidia card, and for me, videos also work normally on Firefox.
